With an international reputation for the construction of custom yachts, JFA Yachts has collaborated with Dixon Yacht Design in a new breed of bluewater boat.
The French shipyard JFA Yachts approached the naval architecture office Dixon Yacht Design to design a new kind of bluewater sailing boat.
Sharing their expertise, they envisaged a true long-distance cruising monohull made of aluminum, a centreboarder yacht able to navigate in all kinds of environments and sized to be conducted with a shorthanded crew.
Thus was born the Adventure 68, a design that shows that comfort and performance come together in a thoroughly modern yacht that redefines the genre.
“The high-volume hull, with its long waterline, takes design ques from the modern shorthanded racing yachts, to give the owner outstanding performance combined with a layout that makes sailing the yacht shorthanded safe and secure,” said designer, Bill Dixon.
