Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is ready to lock horns with rival Jurgen Klopp.

The two will go head to head on Wednesday night in the Premier League.

As Pochettino prepares to upset the league leaders, he singled out Klopp for praise.

He stated: “Of course. Special game for him. Until the end, it's going to be special always. Every time they play at Anfield, it's going to be a party always, to celebrate. But we are thinking to go there and win the game. Sorry, but we don't want to be part of the celebration."

On Klopp's announcement about leaving Liverpool in the summer, he added: “It's the moment for him to announce the situation. The players are professional. The players want to win. I am not seeing it is going to be a situation that is going to affect the performance."

On managers running out of energy, he finished: “In football, it never stresses you. It doesn't make you send energy in the wrong way.

“So many situations, in football now, maybe it affects a little bit the coaches. When I am involved in training sessions, in the game, even when we are here [at the press conference], you recharge the energy because you love to coach, to do your job."
