info@easybranches.comThe Sunreef family just got even bigger.
The Polish yard added a new 111-foot flagship to the rapidly expanding Ultima range on Tuesday. Sunreef first unveiled the Ultima collection in 2023, presenting two high-tech hybrid catamarans of 45 and 55 feet at the Miami and Fort Lauderdale boat shows. The line now includes six high-tech hybrid catamarans ranging from 45 to 111 feet.
Described as “eco-speeders” by Sunreef, the Ultima vessels marry monohull dynamics with multihull proportions to ensure speed, stability, and comfort on the high seas. Each model showcases what the yard calls “the ultimate hull shape”—that explains the Ultima name—with sleek, aerodynamic lines and sharp, angled bows that reduce drag for improved performance and efficiency.
Penned in partnership with fellow Dutch outfit Phathom Studio, the latest addition showcases the signature Ultima DNA and a sporty, automotive-inspired design. The eco cruiser is outfitted with Sunreef’s proprietary solar skin, custom-engineered battery banks, and an advanced hybrid propulsion system. It can also be equipped with hydrofoils that will allow it to soar across the waves with even less drag.
The lofty interior centers around an open atrium staircase that elegantly connects all three levels. All accommodation has been positioned above each hull, meaning seafarers receive both space and views. The two forward guest cabins afford panoramic vistas, while the full-beam owner’s suite opens to a private walk-out terrace with direct access to the forward deck. The living quarters can be tailored to the seafarer, with the yard offering a variety of customizable layouts and decor options.
The exterior decks provide spaces to both entertain and unwind. The upper deck features a plush lounge, a glass hot tub, and an alfresco dining area, while the bow and aft deck are adorned with more comfy lounges. Further toward the stern, the swim platform is fitted with fold-out terraces that provide direct access to the sea. The upper deck also has expandable balconies that can be opened up to create more space.
Another nifty innovation is that a full tender garage has been discreetly hidden beneath the flush aft deck, creating ample room for storing toys and tenders without detracting from the cat’s streamlined silhouette.
Welcome to the family, Ultima 111.
