info@easybranches.comItalian shipyard Rossinavi has revealed Solsea, a hybrid-electric catamaran superyacht developed in collaboration with designer Yves Béhar — founder and CEO of Fuseproject — during Miami’s cultural and design week, Design Miami.
The vessel combines advanced technology with sustainable touches, aiming for silent, eco-conscious ocean exploration.
The Solsea concept has been under development for three years, and Rossinavi says it is designed for owners interested in long-distance crossings, ocean sports and environmentally responsible luxury. The catamaran can operate entirely on electric power for daily trips, while it achieves 90 percent electric operation during multi-day journeys and 80 percent during transatlantic crossings.
The vessel recharges completely from shore power in five hours, and when moored, it minimises consumption through a hibernation mode. Solar panels integrated into its design supply energy back to the quay or private properties.
