Mulpha Events has announced that General Manager Johan Hasser has resigned after 12 years of leading the world-renowned Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) and a growing portfolio of major events.

Under Johan’s leadership, SCIBS has become one of the most anticipated events on the global marine calendar.

“Johan has taken the Show to new heights, making it a key event in the marine industry worldwide,” said Patrick Lonergan, Head of Hotel, Hospitality and Leisure, Mulpha Australia. “His contribution extends far beyond SCIBS, with the Events division growing significantly under his guidance.”

Johan leaves the organisation after overseeing a record-breaking 2024 SCIBS, which attracted 335 exhibitors, 43,741 attendees, 767 boats, 102 product launches, and more than 2,500 marine products.
