Dutch design studio Vripack has collaborated with shipyard Oceanco on the second next-generation Beyond Custom yacht design. The 101-metre vessel, named Lily, incorporates an asymmetrical, split-level structure designed to optimise sight lines and airflow for an improved owner experience.

“The key requirement from Oceanco was to conceive a yacht for the change-makers who want to leave a mark,” says Vripack’s co-creative director, Marnix Hoekstra. “Lily neatly straddles the line between blue-sky thinking and buildability, which is exactly what Beyond Custom is all about.”

The design takes inspiration from a water lily, a flower symbolising resurrection, purity, and enlightenment. The exterior, viewed from the aft, wraps around like the curved leaves of a protective cocoon. The asymmetrical bow features a starboard walkway and a helicopter landing pad portside.
