This week has seen a remarkable slew of news from the Northern European giants, with deliveries, launches and refits of Top 100 vessels making waves this side of the Atlantic. The spotlight has been retrained momentarily on the US, however, in anticipation of Palm Beach International Boat Show. Some of the biggest names in the business have relocated to Florida for the weekend for one of the biggest events in yachting...

The spotlight has not been successfully wrenched from Europe however, as news of not one, but two, Top 100 yachts captured the industry’s imagination. Two of our team were present at today’s emotionally-charged Livorno launch of FB275, the biggest yacht ever built at Benetti! The brand new 108m is the latest in the fascinating Giga series.

The Netherlands also drew attention with the delivery of Project 814. This 93m colossus has been hidden away since its launch in October of last year, and has finally been revealed in all its glory. Burgess also decided to jump on this week's Top 100 bandwagon, bringing news of Jubilee’s 12 month refit to be carried out under the Burgess Technical Services.

Closer to home, Winch Design is also promising great things to come. We bring you exclusive information about the design firm’s XVenture concept, currently being developed in collaboration with Heesen. The boat marks an exciting shift towards the world of explorer yachts for Winch design.
