Mr. Sam Nilsen, currently Owner of Chumphon Marina, was undoubtedly one of the youngest boatbuilders to be found in Norway’s recent history with businesses up and running as of his early 20´s. Soon after he moved to Thailand, where -at the age of 23- he opened his first boat construction site. With currently over 200 boats built, both in Norway and Thailand, Roar “Sam” Nilsen can easily be considered as one of the most experienced craftsmen in the shipbuilding industry in Thailand.

Mr. Sam Nilsen and Dr. Samai Hemman, the President of D-House group, have recently had a number of strategic meetings concerning the mutual interests in the D-House Senior Complex project in the Maldives. 
The business relation between Dr. Samai Hemman and Roar “Sam” Nilsen is built on a mutual understanding of how marinas and properties can benefit each other and how to grow this business globally. 

The D-House group custom-built waterfront properties is a new concept developed by this team where all properties will have direct access to marinas.  The team is working on several projects in both Thailand and the Maldives where it already has established strong government relations and support.
