Prior to Soling sailing, a Chinese Junk went on a test sail. Unfortunately, it only sailed for a short while until it lost both rudder and sail control and had to be rescued by kayak. The Chinese Junk is planned to take part in Schooner Fest at Nashua NH on October 31, 2020. For the Solings, winds were very variable, with one dreadful calm as many boats were approaching the finish line. Music: William Tell Overture by Rossini
