HEESEN YACHTS USA - OCTOBER BRINGS A DOUBLE WIN FOR HEESEN

We are thrilled to share with you that Heesen sold two yachts in the past few weeks. The 55-meter POLLUX was sold at the beginning of October and last Friday we announced the sale of the 50-meter TRITON. A special congratulations to David Johnson at Denison Yachts on closing Project TRITON.
Triton is the third yacht sold by Heesen in 2020. It is exciting that at Heesen we can sign contracts despite the challenges created by Covid-19 travel restrictions. Our team is continually creating innovative marketing and communication tools to bridge the gap generated by the pandemic with very positive results.
Despite the difficulties presented in 2020, Heesen is moving full steam ahead with 12 yachts under construction and deliveries that span through to 2023.

Project Triton | YN18850
Project Triton is the second in the 50-metre steel class. She is a true blue-water motor yacht, featuring a displacement steel hull designed by Heesen’s in-house team of naval architects and engineers.
Two MTU 8V4000 M63 diesel engines provide a top speed of 15 knots. She boasts a range of 3,800 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots.
Her distinctive, flowing exterior lines inspired by classic automotive design are by British designer Clifford Denn, while fellow British studio Reymond Langton is responsible for the elegant interior design.

Project Pollux | YN19255
Project Pollux’s imaginative interior design, perfectly crafted by Heesen’s in-house team of cabinet makers, is wrapped in a muscular exterior design by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. The bold lines of the 55-metre class embody the evolution of the shipyard’s DNA. Heesen’s traditional sportiness is now combined with masculine lines typical of long-range blue water motor yachts recognizable from afar.
The beauty of the 55-metre steel class continues underwater. Her steel hull is an iteration of the uber-efficient FDHF devised by Dutch hydrodynamicists Van Oossanen and engineered by Heesen’s in-house team of naval architects. Two MTU 8V 4000 M63 (IMO Tier III) will propel Pollux to a maximum speed of 15.5 knots. At a cruising speed of 13 knots, she will have a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles.
YachtTalk

Exceptional circumstances always spark innovative ideas – especially in the superyacht industry. With boat shows cancelled and travel restrictions limiting shipyard visits, Heesen has decided to take action and launch YachtTalk – the first ever talk show dedicated to yachting. On each show we will discuss relevant topics with leading experts from our industry.
