In May 2021, Marlin University heads to Guatemala. Guatemala’s huge numbers of billfish make it impossible to pass up. Almost nowhere else in the world offers this many shots at billfish and serious anglers know that if you want to improve your skills, you need to get the shots.

In Guatemala we stay at the Casa Vieja Lodge and fish on their fleet of classic game boats consisting of Rybovich, Merritt and Gamefisherman sport boats. Our instructors deliver a comprehensive course on all aspects of prepping for, locating, hooking, fighting and landing billfish.

Casa Vieja Lodge is a classically styled sportsman’s retreat surrounded by landscaped gardens and tropical foliage. Each evening you will be treated to a four course gourmet meal.
