Below Deck sneak peek

Chef Ben Robinson is no stranger to sailing around the world providing top-notch cuisines for guests to sit back and relax on their cruising holiday. He did just that onboard superyacht Honor across four seasons on Netflix’s hit show Below Deck. Now he is "looking forward" to sharing his skills onboard his next project away from TV.

Below Deck’s Ben Robinson is set to put his culinary skills to the test as he partners up with Emerald Cruises

The cruising brand will be welcoming celebrity chef Robinson onboard for two culinary-themed trips on its 100-guest luxury yachts.

The reality star will be cooking up a storm onboard the Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara in 2023 and 2024.

Guests joining these exclusive sailings will have multiple opportunities to sample Robinson’s cuisines and join him for cooking demonstrations.

During the onboard demonstrations, Robinson will share his creations, made with locally sourced ingredients, and share cooking tips during an interactive Q&A session.

He will also lead guests on onshore excursions, allowing guests to personally experience his "unique insights and flair".

Ben is also set to design three customised dinner menus, which will be served in the yachts’ exclusive onboard dining room, La Cucina.

Then during the evening, guests will also have the chance to meet the chef himself whilst enjoying a signature cocktail.

Speaking about his new cooking project, Robinson explained: “As you can imagine, I’m a huge fan of yacht cruising.

“So when I learned about Emerald Cruises’ beautiful, modern yachts, I knew I wanted to cook on board. It’s a natural fit for me.”

The reality star also expressed his excitement to partner up with the cruise liner later this year.

“I look forward to sharing my passion for food with the guests and exploring the culinary traditions of these regions together,” he explained.

Most people will recognise Robinson from his time serving as head chef during his stint on Bravo's Below Deck and Below Deck Med.

He was the full-time chef on seasons one and two, but didn't return to the show until the very end of season three.

Robinson reappeared in the series after chef Leon Walker was forced to leave the boat following his ongoing feud with chief stew, Kate Chastain.

But the reality star made another comeback for season four, which later ended up being his last season on the original Below Deck series.

However, fans had been speculating about his return to the hit reality show since his departure from the series.

And even though fans are desperate to see him back on Below Deck, he publicly shut down rumours.

On an Instagram Live with Christine "Bugsy" Drake he revealed that he is “a little too old for Below Deck”.

Below Deck is available to stream on Netflix in the UK.
